PROSPECT MEMBERS (HOW TO JOIN)

If you are interested in joining our club, please complete an application.

You do not have to have a show vehicle to be a member.

A prospect is required to attend 2 meets consecutively.

On the 2nd meeting, members will discuss and vote on the prospected membership.

A one-time membership fee of $35.00 will be paid.

Prospects will be on a 30-day probationary period.  If they are not content at the end the period, there is no obligation.  (No shirt, or decal will be ordered at this time and the $35.00 membership fee will be refunded).

Prospects and future members and their family members are allowed to attend all club meetings, functions and events.

The President will make the final call in membership.


MEMBERS

Must maintain a car or truck in "show ready" condition and working continuously upgrading your vehicle, or have an active project under construction.

Members vehicles that are under construction must work on their vehicles continuously.

If you do not have a show vehicle and want to be a Member of our Club - you have to follow all the same rules.

Meetings will be held at least every 2 weeks during the car show season and once a month during off season.  Time/location will be put out at last meeting, reminder texts and on the web page.  (Unless and Emergency meeting is called by the President).  Attendance is MANDATORY except for family emergencies, work related, vacations and personal issues that you can't be in attendance.  You should be at all meetings.

A $10.00 monthly dues and a new toy will be collected by the Treasurer.    Membership fees and dues will be utilized for purchasing shirts, decals, items/supplies needed for fundraisers, car washes, picnics and events we host or attend and also for fees associated with maintaining the web page,  the Chamber of Commerce and any other memberships.  Toys will be donated to the Children's Christmas Party with Special Needs.     

It is recommended that you and your family attend and help out at all events, car shows and fundraisers, or even by helping other members with their vehicles.  Family comes first!   Please do not put your family in any hardship due to the club help out.

You must bring your car or attend a minimum of 6 events annually.  (Picnics, fundraisers or shows) Meetings, and social events where we support other clubs are counted too.

Members and Family Members should not discuss club business with non-members at any time.

Any member or family member should not and will not put themselves above another. 

Everyone is expected to help each other like family and work together.

All members must agree on each and every subject or they will not pass (Majority rules).

It is MANDATORY if you can not show up for a club meeting or an event to let a Member know you won't be there or text the President.

Never disrespect any member or their family in the club.  If a problem occurs bring it up to the President to handle it.

Members will have a six (6) months evaluation on their participation, dues paid and vehicle upgrades.

Enjoy and have fun at all functions, events and shows.  We are a Family!


VEHICLE REQUIREMENT

Vehicle will have a presentable paint job and interior.

Vehicle must have a minimum of 1 major modification.  (Engine, sounds, interior, paint, etc.) to join club.

All members have six (6) months to do a minor modification to your vehicle.

All vehicles must be "Car Show" ready.  If vehicle is under construction you are still required to be "Show Car" ready with a sign in your window saying under construction.


BEHAVIOR

Kustom Evolutions Car Club Members and Family Members will not and do not discriminate against anyone for any reason.

All members and family Members maintain a positive image and avoid any negative behavior or drama.  Members/Family Members will conduct themselves accordingly at all show/function/event rules at all times.

Members will park/stage next to each other if possible and will leave designated area clean.

The Club Members as a group are responsible for calling out violations.


LOSS OF MEMBERSHIP

Members who do not report for more than 3 months automatically lose membership.

A member that is dismissed or joins another club will not be let back into the club and will not display the Kustom Evolutions logo in any way as to imply their continued affiliation.

President will make FINAL judgment on any/all dismissals.



OFFICER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

All leadership positions require participate as an active member.


PRESIDENT

Maintain a collective responsibility over the car club.

Accepts responsible for the actions of the club.

Establish long term and short term goals.

Serves as the "face" of the club.


VICE PRESIDENT

Substitute in the absence of the president.

Presides over club meetings.

Executes all events as planned (meetings, picnics, car shows, social events).


SERGEANT AT ARMS

Substitutes in the absence of the vice president.

Responsible for orderly conducts of meetings and events (staging vehicles, order of procession etc.).

Distributions and removal of decals.


TREASURER

Maintain financial records and statements.

Totals will be announced at every meeting and put in the newsletter for those that could not make the meeting.

Collects membership dues.

Conducts financial transactions and files all state and federal forms.


SECRETARY

Maintains club records and meeting notes.

Keeps membership records.

Make calls/texts to members.


EVENT COORDINATOR

Research upcoming car shows and register the club for them.

Events out of town are to be agreed upon and approved by the President before officially scheduled.

Coordinate with local businesses to conduct fundraisers (car wash, bake sales, raffles, etc.).

Set up Club Events (Meetings, picnics, car show, going away events for members, etc.

Events to be labeled tentative on schedule until a consensus is reached.


SOCIAL MEDIA OFFICER

Build and update Web page/Face book page with current events and pictures.


PHOTOGRAPHER

Responsible for taking pictures at all shows/events/social functions.




CAR SHOW RULES


1.  Car show entries are optional, however each member is highly encouraged to attend car shows to help support fellow                           members and represent the car club.


2.  Members who enter will choose their class/category in which they would have the best impact.


3.  Representation during car shows and events is as follows:


     a)   All members and their family will adhere to and conduct themselves accordingly to the car show's rules at all times.

     b)   At no time will any member argue with another club or event personnel.  If there is a problem, the president or the vice president

             will take care of the situation.

     c)    All members will police themselves and language due to the environment that they are in.

     d)   Members will park and stage next to each other if space is available and car show will permit.

     e)   Pomographic videos and loud obscene music will not be allowed at car shows.

     f)    Members will police their area and leave designated area clean.

    

4.  The President will determine the time and location for meeting up and rolling out.

5.  Members MUST arrive on time.

6.  The club will only give a 15 minute wait time before rolling out.

7.  The President or the Vice President will decide by what vehicles show up the order of March.

       a)  There will be a Board Member in the lead and rear of the convoy at all times.

       b)  Security will be determined by traffic and road conditions.

       c)  All traffic laws will be followed.

       d)  Convoy speed will not go over 5 MPH over the posted speed limit.


8.  All club members, family members and their guests are asked to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner when attending all club meetings, shows and events.  They will be representing not only you but the entire Kustom Evolutions Car Club directly or by association.
